Upon the commission and willingness of the groups’ effort to become publicly renowned, Salvation held their first “coming out” program on May 22, 2005 at the Swainsboro City Auditorium with an audience of over 600 people singing songs such as “Running”, “23rd Psalm”, “Jesus on the main line” & “I’ll Fly Away” . Ever since that day, Salvation has extended their praises to God through their inspirational and uplifting voices in song.
Because of the strong spiritual bond among themselves and being highly favored by God, Salvation is becoming renown throughout the state of
Members of Salvation include: Bro. Arthur Jones – lead vocals & manager; Bro. Robert Johnson – keyboard player & background vocals; Bro. J.C. Jackson – lead guitar & background vocals; Bro. Anthony Oglesby – drummer and background vocals; and Bro. Reginald Johnson – base guitar.
These members are committed to God’s praises’ through Psalms 96: Sing unto the LORD a new song: sing unto the LORD, all the earth. Sing unto the LORD, bless His name; show forth His salvation from day to day. Declare His glory among the heathen, His wonders among all people. For the LORD is great, and greatly to be praised: He is to be feared above all gods.
